When and Where is the New President Sworn In?

I for one remain totally neutral in politics. I firmly believe that man doesn't have the right or capability to direct his own step. After an honest evaluation I also firmly believe that all of mankind's endeavors in government have been complete dismal failures. That being said I was just curious on a factual note about when the new President would be sworn in. That happens on January 20Th 2009 at 12 noon. Ever since 1981 when Reagan was inaugurated the swearing in ceremonies have typically been held on the West Front of the Capitol Building. If weather is inclement then the Capitol Rotunda is used. In recent years the price tag for this ceremony not including the balls, galas and parades has been close too 1 million dollars. Now lets sit back and see how much this one costs!
